The Doctor Who Stole Christmas

Alas, I didn’t get The Doctor for Christmas. The Tardis just wouldn’t fit under the tree, you see (I have to keep telling myself that or I’ll cry *wink*), but thanks to my favorite television network, BBC America (and no I am not being compensated to say that lol), I can have the next best thing—a day utterly filled with Doctor Who. It’s like the never-ending stocking … except that it will only last 24 hours.
So, what all is planned? Check it out:
THE DOCTOR WHO STOLE CHRISTMAS
Doctor Who climbs down the BBC AMERICA chimney so viewers can wake up on Christmas morning to daleks, the Tardis, and other Whovian treats under the tree by tuning into this all-Christmas Day Doctor Who stunt. The Doctor Who Stole Christmas runs Friday, December 24, starting at 12:00 a.m. ET/PT and all day Saturday, December 25.
DOCTOR WHO AT THE PROMS – U.S. PREMIERE
The Doctor’s companion, Karen Gillan, hosts a live event featuring the Doctor Who orchestra and appearances by the Doctor’s most notorious enemies – from Daleks to Vampires to Cybermen. Special guests include Matt Smith, Arthur Darvill and Steven Moffat. Doctor Who at The Proms premieres Saturday, December 24, 1:00 p.m. ET/PT.
DOCTOR WHO CHRISTMAS SPECIAL – A CHRISTMAS CAROL – U.S. PREMIERE
The festive Dickens-inspired adventure is penned by award-winning lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat (Sherlock, Coupling). Along with newlyweds Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) and Rory Williams (Arthur Darvill), Harry Potter’s Michael Gambon and Opera diva Katherine Jenkins join the Doctor for what might be his most Christmassy adventure yet. Doctor Who Christmas Special premieres Saturday, December 25, 9:00 pm ET/PT.
… and after all THAT wonderfulness, check out Matt Smith on The Graham Norton Show immediately following Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol. Best Christmas ever, my dear Whovians. I leave you with this hilarity, enjoy! Happy Holidays!
