Review
Mail, magazines, collectibles, gifts never used, clothing never worn, books you don’t read, CDs or DVDs you never listen or watch … all of these together begin to make our houses, lives and minds favor an episode of How Clean Is Your House?. Clutter will, and does, find its way into every nook and cranny of your home and office. Don’t fret though … enter Brooks Palmer, landscaper of clutter, defender of our lives and sanity.

Through the sharing of stories where he has helped people and functional no-nonsense tips, we get a sense of just how breaking through the untidiness and confusion can change our lives for the better. What was really refreshing, and made this book stand out among the others I have read on this topic, is that Brooks tackles digital clutter along with physical and mental muddle.

For the most part,  this book is extremely practical and utterly accessible, and should be read by anyone dealing with the dilemma of clutter (even if you don’t think you have one, you might be surprised). After all, “the home is not a warehouse”.

Rating
I’m giving this wonderful book 5 out of 5 for helping me regain lost time and sanity.
