About
Read All Over is a blog where we review, talk about, whine, squee and more over books, film, music and (now) television. We began back in 2006 as Belladonna’s Bookshelf then changed our name and moved locations in mid-2008 and now we are finally at a permanent (I hope!) URL.
The title of our blog was snatched from the old elementary riddle “what’s black and white and read all over?” (answer: a newspaper)
Full-Time Reviewer
• Teresa (Site Owner)
Teresa [Chrissy], 29, is a ‘Girl Friday’ by day and a web designer, digital artist, aspiring novelist, poet, book and movie fanatic by night. She is a Gaelic Polytheist, a lover of world history (namely European and American), a Gaeilge (Irish Gaelic) student, a sane Supernatural and British TV fangirl (DOCTOR WHO! BEING HUMAN! MERLIN! TORCHWOOD!), and a supporter of self-sufficiency and green living. She also loves to read paranormal and historical fiction, is an Austenite/Janeite and is an avid listener of traditional Celtic music. Visit her on her website, GoodReads, and/or Twitter.
Contributing Reviewers
• Jennifer
Jennifer Tait feels very old looking at the ages of the other reviewers, so she’s not telling her age. However, she will say that she’s old enough to have seen Star Wars in the theater (multiple times) when it was first released. She works as a production editor for a major publishing company in NYC but will not review any books put out by the company (under any imprint) on this site since that can be considered a conflict of interest. She lives in New Jersey with a husband and a cat. She’s completely addicted to Lost. Areas of interest include Robin Hood, pirates, zombies (and horror in general), Beowulf (and other early English literature, though Beowulf has a soft spot in her heart), medieval history, Celtic history and literature, history of diseases, and some odd subjects like bog bodies. She’s on LibraryThing, Twitter, and Goodreads. She also has a blog but she tends to mostly post about Lost.
• Allison
Allison Dauer, 22, works as a receptionist but dreams of an editorial career in the book publishing field. When she’s not reading, she loves putting that English major to good use and writing, taking photographs, and travelling. She wishes her French skills would improve beyond the conversational, and she tries to make her Christian faith central to her life. While able to play the piano fairly well, she is quite clumsy when it comes to sports. She can be found on her website, Twitter, and GoodReads.

• Meredith
Meredith is a writer and fiber artist living in Central VA. She studied literature and folklore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before working as a corporate trainer and instructional designer for a financial software company for 10 years. She has written countless training manuals, but now devotes her energy to fiction and creative non-fiction. A voracious reader, her interests are history, genealogy, anthropology, and Scots Gaelic. She is currently at work on a series of short stories based on the history and legends of North Carolina’s southern outer banks. When her hands are not holding a book or touching a keyboard they are likely knitting, spinning yarn or felting. You can follow her adventures in fiction and fiber on her website. You can also find her on Twitter and Flickr.
